4 Amazing Homemade Products for Natural Hair Care

As a real nomad, I travel and move a lot. That's why the solid shampoo is one of my favorite products. It's so much more comfortable to have a solid shampoo on a trip with you than having one in a bottle. It gives a nice creamy lather and lasts for the whole trip and more.

Here are some examples of the Hair products that I made for myself, family and friends:

Solid Shampoo "Chocolate Cookie" with unfiltered raw Cocoa Bean Butter for dry hair

This delicious solid shampoo is based on surfactant derived from Coconut Oil, which gives it a nice, soft and pleasant foam.

Raw unfiltered Cocoa Butter is perfect for dry or curly hair. It nourishes the hair and prevents dehydration. Together with Bourbon Vanilla Extract, it brings a sweet, chocolate aroma.

Phytokeratin, wheat protein, is rich in amino acids and maintains the hair moisture, making it strong and shiny. Usually, keratin, used in cosmetic industry, is of animal origin, however, phytokeratines I use is a vegetable alternative and it will be safe for vegetarians and vegans.

Rub the solid shampoo on wet hair, massage it and rinse as you would with regular liquid shampoo.

It is also possible to replace Cocoa Butter with any other Butters or Oils depending on your needs and preferences. My favorite combinations are Atlas Cedar Wood and Rosemary for hair growth, refreshing Mint and Lemon, Grapefruit and Cedar Wood for anti-fall.

These two oils work great together to fight against hair loss and give hair shine. Vitamin E and Cedar are known to stimulate the hair growth.. This Natural Conditioner is made from Vegetable Emulsifier Wax, that leave the hair soft and easier to brush.

Apply on clean wet hair, rub for a minute and rinse.

Moisturizing and Nourishing Mask for all type of hair with Olive Oil and Coconut Butter

Olive oil strengthens dull hair bringing to it shine and vitality.

Coconut Butter, rich in nutritious oils, is a great moisturizer. It nourishes hair, while taking care of frizzy hair. Due to the essential oil of Lemon, the mask has a slight lightening effect and smells very fresh.

It's great to use as a pre-wash mask. Depending on how much free time you have, apply it on your hair 10+ minutes before you wash it (if possible, overnight) and then use your shampoo and conditioner as you normally would. The mask will leave your hair smooth, soft and shiny.

Anti-Frizz Mask with Phytokeratines

Broccoli is one of the best oils for hair. It nourishes, gives shine and works as a natural silicone. Dates and Wheat Phytokeratines cures dry hair, which helps frizzy hair become more manageable. I particularly like it's floral and sensual scent of Ylang-Ylang.
